Lesley Francis
Registered Veterinary Technician
I was born and raised in Butte County and have lived here all my life. I live on a ranch near Biggs, CA. I have dogs, horses, and sheep. I have been a licensed veterinary technician for fifteen years and have worked in the veterinary field for twenty-four years. I spent many years showing horses, owned and operated a dog grooming shop for a number years and have breeding and showing Border Terriers for the past twelve years, competing in conformation, obedience, agility, fly ball, and earthdog tests.
I really enjoy working with all types of animals both large and small and love caring for them at the veterinary clinic. I also enjoy the opportunity to meet the owners of the pets that visit the clinic and helping them with both physical as well as behavioral concerns. |

Lisa Vernon
Registered Veterinary Technician
Animals have been a passion of mine since a child. I worked in another career for 25 years, retired, and went back to college to obtain my Veterinary Technician Degree. I became licensed in 2001 and I am now following my dream.
I have had several pets throughout the years but now down to four dogs and one cat. Isis is my Rat Terrier, Jada is a new rescue, and Dusty and Blaze are our loveable Brittany Spaniels.
I have one black cat, a rescue, who is the hunting goddess of my street.
In my spare time, I ride motorcycles, hike, water sports, and travel. My favorite trips are ones where I can view wildlife. In my life I have seen wolves hunt, beluga whales migrate, large herds of elk, swam with manatees in the wild, and swam wild dolphins in the wild.
